GTS has received ATMO Approved Natural Refrigerants Label

We are proud to announce that GTS, an innovative leader in the production of hydrocarbon gases, has received the coveted ATMO Approved Natural Refrigerants Label from ATMOsphere, a global leader in promoting clean cooling and heating solutions. This recognition underscores GTS's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the natural refrigerants sector.

Launched by ATMOsphere in June 2022, the ATMO Approved Natural Refrigerants Label is considered a global standard of excellence for manufacturers of natural refrigerant systems and components. With this recognition, GTS joins an exclusive group of companies that have demonstrated excellence in the production of eco-friendly refrigerants.

Paolo Zunino, CEO of GTS, expressed his satisfaction with this milestone: “Being approved by ATMOsphere is an honor that strengthens our market image and our environmental commitment. GTS can produce more than 25,000 metric tons per year of Polarpure-branded refrigerant gases, with a purity of up to 99.99%. These include propane (R290), isobutane (R600a), n-butane (R600), propylene (R1270), and propane and propylene mixtures. GTS's distillation plant, located in Arquà Polesine, uses R290 heat pumps and is powered by a 1MW solar plant, significantly contributing to the reduction of CO2e emissions.
